Walaber, the creator of the squishy physics-based game JelloCar, has released a trailer for his next game, titled Gymnast. The game, which is controlled by twin analog sticks, will be released for free on the PC and Xbox 360.

It looks really ace, I must say! For more information on the game, hit up Walaber’s Gymnast thread on Fun-Motion.

Ah, seen that trailer. It really looks a lot like Petri Purho’s “The Amazing Flying Brothers”, which already was great fun. This just looks quite some more interesting, I’m just wondering whether the character movement is rather simple or a little more sophisticated. But anyway, it looks really good and the level editor surely makes this even that much more interesting :)

Have a go at Walaber’s Trampoline. If Gymnast turns out just as hadrcore in terms of timing, I’m scared. Still Trampoline was sort of… fun.

Reminds me of the gymnastics level of Track and Field 2 for NES

Freaking awesome, is more like it! I think it needs a little bit more tuning, but it’s already pretty sweet. Only took me like 2 hours to become barely proficient. :)

Super fun new simulation game. They never run out of people and skills to simulate. Now, gymnasts.
