Flow

Flow is made by the
same guy who made Cloud.
Similar to his other game, Flow is an idyllic and rather soothing way to pass
the time. The gameplay is an intriguing blend between Pacman and Snake.

By using the mouse to pilot, you gobble up segments that cause your body to
grow as onscreen visuals ‘ping’ to let you know where the nearest ‘elevator’
organism is. (Eating elevator organisms cause your snake to go up or down a
level). As you progress, you eventually start bumping into other organisms.
After defeating these organisms, swallowing the small + sign allows one of your
body segments to evolve.

At this point, I was considering putting something like "The time will
just flow by", but that would result in the immediate invalidation of my
journalism license.

Dang, I hate to threadjack, but I don’t know how else to contact you guys. Your RSS feed is jacked up, at least in Apple Safari, I get a new copy of all your articles about five times a day. I’ve seen this in some versions of Typo, the RSS keeps changing slightly so some RSS readers think the article is new even though it’s not. You may want to look into it, or enable ATOM feeds so we can use those (ATOM uses a GUID that prevents this problem).

It seems messed up in Opera, too.

  • Teeth

I get two copies of each article (staggered, so I get like the last five articles all at once alongside the old ones) in KlipFolio.

Also, would be great if there were some way to get to the main page from any given article, like the old days before you fell asleep :p

    Good stuff.

Teeth, you regular. Two copies, at least, of each article is because the first is to publish, and I believe the second is to add categories to it. (That’s what I had to do, anyway)

I’m not sure where the rest of the gang is, but I’ve no idea how to fix the double-posting thing.

  • Derek

I’ll ask Jeff about it. He’s our tech guy! The no paragraph breaks in the comments is annoying, too. :p

  • http://www.fadupinator.com larsiusprime

You guys should totally post some contact info. At least a form. :P

  • Teeth

    o/

To be honest the RSS stuff doesn’t bother me in the slightest bit, and I have the tigs page on my firefox bar anyway, so you know, it’s not a problem. Mainly I’m just glad you’re all back :)

  • Esseb

While we’re pointing out problems anyway, could you perhaps add a title to the front page? It’s currently blank, so if you google for tigsource the title it gives the search result is whatever article was the most recent one when it last indexed tigsource.com

  • Esseb

And it would be nice if big logo on the top was a link to the front page, so if you’re reading an article and decide you want to read the other articles you don’t have to modify the URL to get there.

Yeah, I second what larsiusprime said.

Mwahaha. Threadjack complete. You guys actually do have an ATOM feed, it’s just not linked to in the HTML. I should have checked, it’s in the same place it always is for Typo: tigsource.com/xml/atom/feed.xml

Flow is a lot of fun, by the way…
