Ping Pong & Previews

Cactus has released his first ever (?) sports game, suitably titled Ping Pong. Battle Dino, Bunk, Pasztor, Hoff, and Noir by pressing Z and sometimes the arrow keys!

Features: Original Mode and Realistic Mode.

Also, he has posted some tasty screens of his current works-in-progress, which you can (and should) check out here.

(Thanks, Rolf, for the Ping Pong history lesson!)

Yes! Cactus Boxing would be great. We’re going to be sleeping on the same couch the next week, so…

@ Gutter: Haha, I dunno, maybe that was his plan all along. :)

My girlfriend was behind me when I downloaded this, and I set her up with a “Ohh Cactus is great! Game machines, but they are always though provoking or just plain fun”

She actually stood behind me for the game to download and install so she can see it.

5 minutes after, when she realized that the “Realistic” mode wasn’t a “realistic” counterpart to the “original” mode, but that it was still the same ping pong game, she left, thinking that I was fucking crazy.

Thanks Cactus!

Very interesting game. Cactus should do more sports games.

When I saw the image he drew for this game on his site, at first, it almost looked like the guy on the left was punching the other guy with boxing gloves. Well that is, until I looked at his other hand.

But man, what if Cactus actually did make a boxing game? Now that would be pretty cool.

DB: Yes, and they stay dead every time you open the game subsequently. The moral is: don’t play ping pong.
