Mr. Postman has compiled a nifty little list of shmups scheduled for release during the next Comiket. Horizontal, vertical, arena, multi-directional – you name it, he’s got it.

There’s a couple of demos to be found if you browse through the list as well. Undeniably Shoot the Core and the2bears are the places to go for the latest news in doujin shmups releases and Comiket 72 updates.

There are two import store I know of that carry games like this, Himeya (http://www.himeyashop.com/index.php/cPath/62_63) and Paletweb (http://www.paletweb.com/). However be prepared to pay through the nose on shipping from Himeya…

I’d be more excited if I actually knew how to get my hands on any of these games, beyond the Shanghai Alice Tohou games, bless their rediculous popularity.
