Humorous, although I wonder if credit was given to the creator of Sumotori Dreams. I imagine that the majority of the people who watched that clip on the show itself probably thought that the “silly video game fighting” footage was put together by the show’s graphic effects team.

Conan’s graphic department is delightfully nerdy; I wouldn’t be surprised if someone followed the indie game scene around there. They did include a Segata Sanshiro commercial in one bit, after all.

To whoever bitched about Conan getting credit instead of his writes- Conan is way funnier than his writes. The show had a golden age during the writer’s strike.

Ha ha ha. I used to play Sumotori Dreams in C++ class, and everyone sitting behind me would very quickly get distracted by the game and get a good laugh out of it. TIGSouce.com must deserve a little credit, here.

Also, not so sure, but I think Avatar the Game does a lot of things very good (Halo-style that is).

I remember playing SD with my friends and laughing non-stop… but SD is a nerd joke. If you show it to random people, they won’t appreciate the effort it takes to just make something stand up like that in two feet.
