Be forewarned, listening to John Graham’s voice has been known to cause wombs to spontaneously fill up with babies. Wolfire’s Overgrowth is a physics-based ninja rabbit fighting game that’s currently in development.

awesome, let’s hope this doesnt attract too much furphobia.

  5. Mooseral said about 3 hours later:

It’s kinda funny, ‘cause the Wolfire blog updates more than TIGS does.

Somewhat expresses my feeling… although the sentiment of goofiness may come from the video itself, also.

Good that it made it’s way here eventually too, though.

  6. Phasma Felis said about 7 hours later:

So, um…did these guys just invent an indie Source Engine and promise to release it for the price of a game?

  7. Phasma Felis said about 7 hours later:

    Because that’s totally awesome.

  8. DBB said about 9 hours later:

Indeed, there is a man who knows how to do a voiceover. We need to get him on a future TigCast, if only for this.

  10. Akuryo said about 12 hours later:

    Fuck. I felt a kick.

Is the baby going to get out by anus? DONT TELL ME IT WILL BE THE URETRA!

    Pain is coming.

  11. Kinten said about 12 hours later:

I’ve been looking at some of the videos in their youtube-channel. Nothing short of amazing! Truly inspiring work.

Also, I’ve been listening to Graham’s voice quite intensely, no babies so far :,(

I love the way the building editor lets you take a pretty decent building and shrink all the bits at once so as to completely screw it up!

But seriously - these tools look fun. :-)

  13. raebodep said about 20 hours later:

furry. not playing it. furfags can go yiff in hell.

  14. Trotim said about 20 hours later:

  15. Ntero said about 21 hours later:

Don’t have much on the game itself, but the toolset they created, and the features they are working on for it, look very exciting.

  16. DarkJee said about 23 hours later:

They started fully working on their engine 1 year ago precisely, the Phoenix Engine is really powerful and this game will be the best indie game ever!!

  17. desu said about 23 hours later:

    too bad its furry

  18. Dinsdale said about 23 hours later:

so I’m guessing 4chon is still in business making the internet dumber.

    also, this looks awesome!

  19. Mooseral said 1 day later:

Yeah, the original Lugaru actually had a fairly intriguing combat system; Overgrowth seems to take the same ideas, and drop them into an awesome engine.

Seriously though, their tech implementation seems to be quite amazing so far. Should be good fun to play around with upon release. Dancing pillars for everyone, wot wot.
