I always enjoy listening to Jenova Chen and Kellee Santiago (thatgamecompany) talk about games, and I’m not as familiar with Dylan Cuthbert (Q-Games), but he has good things to say. Hearing from developers who are passionate about what they do just makes my heart swell! It makes you feel very fortunate to be able to take part in this shift in gaming.

    I watched this over coffee this moring, I really enjoyed it. I attended a talk by Kellee Santiago in Montreal, and I thought the direction they were headed was really interesting.

    Dylan Cuthbert worked on the Starfox franchise for Nintendo way back when. I believe working with that Super NES super 3d chip or what have you…

    Highly interesting indeed. It’s just great to hear about all those different directions they are taking, astray from the “conventional”. It surely looks like variety in general is just going to explode because of all those, or rather all you indie developers. The very positive kind of explosion, of course :D

    The interviews were very nice indeed. Jenova has some interesting views as to what direction computer games should take in the future.
