This one’s been out a while, but I just played it and I figured some of you might not have seen it!
By Sean “Wyrdysm” Chan (the developer of Battleships Forever), qrp is, in the author’s own words, “about daydreaming about girls in class. It’s a simple expression of how I felt as a silly little boy going through school.”
Really cute and charming little game.

Can you catch her?
Finally, a game that makes a relevant statement about life: You never seem to get the girl.
;)
If you discover the secret power of mind control, you can get the girl.
… it’s not a very positive message, really! ;)
I got the girl. ^_^
Yea it’s possible :) Don’t read the mobygames entry for qrp, it’s completely wrong.
Thanks Derek!
aww, this was sweet, and I know nobody wants to talk the ‘games are art’ stuff; but this was that. it was really basic, you cant argue theres no heart in this.
This game really transported the said feeling for me, and I love it for being able to do that, partly because it took me back in time, partly because it’s able to do that.
No need to ruin this comment thread with “games = art?! D:”, though!
So seriously, how od you get the girl.
Well, I used roofies…
WASD controls the girl …
I got the girl without using WASD… I probably pressed at least one of those keys though, which may have triggered something. She eventually walked up to the guy if I remember correctly.
i’m confused…
WASD is just one of the ways, I’d rather that not be made public to let players find that on their own but, heh , what can I do.
You don’t need WASD.
Is it just me that’s more interested in the logic textbook than the girl?
This game is incredibly depressing and it makes me cry.
