Damn… that bottle thing reminded me of Infocom’s “Sherlock”. One of the first things I did at the very beginning, instead of giving Holmes the newspaper, was opening my doctor’s bag, taking a bottle of pills, getting both the pills and cotton wool out, sticking cotton balls into my ears, taking violin and playing it. Mrs Hudson was NOT entertained.
And in their “Borderzone” I got the paper towel wet by throwing it in the toilet instead of using the tap.

I’m going to look into the more code-friendly options…
Perhaps we should combine our powers? :)

I’m gonna take the plunge and enter— I need to find the option that requires as little programming as possible… I did Karel and Hello, World but never got any further.
Off to the forums for suggestions. If I can I’ll try a horror manga – mutant love story IF.
yay!

Inform is very code friendly. The code is just English-like.
Expect a super late, rushed and stupid entry from yours truly about three seconds before the deadline.
Ahhh, an IF compo for this prestigious crowd. Excellent, excellent!

People should go and get the IF developers out there to submit their most ludicrous ideas for this thing. It`s not for prizes, just fun, so you can make an IF about masturbation, for all people care.

I love how Grues are in every Infocom game, even ones that aren’t in a fantasy setting.
Hehe, I like that there is actually a Tiger sauce. Derek a bottle of that should be the prize :P
