Tetuhau

IkikiWatch 2007 continues, thanks in no small part to pkt-zero, who provided me with a zip of all the games! Thanks, man!
This time I pulled out Tetuhau, which looks to be a precursor to Hakkaiman, which I really enjoyed. It is, as you can imagine, much more primitive all around, with a noticeable absence of neck-snapping! On the other hand, the cutscenes are pretty entertaining.
It’s extremely short!

Been awhile since the last Ikiki review hasn’t it? :P
Trying this one out now…
Yeah, where has the Ikiki love been lately?
I tried to complete this game “perfectly” a few times (kill all soldiers, rescue all hostages, get all items, don’t die) because it’s so short. Never done it.
Love the entirely random last boss.
“It’s extremely short!”
You yell it like it’s a good thing :P Then again maybe it is.
I’ve played a lot of Ikiki’s games, I downloaded almost all of them a while back but I must have missed this one. I’ll download it and see what it’s like.
how about posting the entire zip file so some of us can have a go at playing it, or even reviewing it?
All the files seem to be up under http://files.tigsource.com/ikiki/ , you just have to guess the filename. :P
Seconded! I seem to have lost Hakkaiman too, it is nowhere to be found on my HD for some reason. :(
Also, the Internet Archive still holds the homepage, where the download links to the games can be found.

Also, here’s Ikiki’s user page on Vector, download links on the bottom:

Alright, link added to the post. :)
Yousendit links only last seven days, though, you know. If bandwidth isn’t a concern, you could mirror the full archive on files.tigsource, too, not just the individually compressed games.
…Wait, what the hell am I saying? Forgot I already posted about this, since posts containing links have to be approved by a moderator first.
They’re not Viagra ads, seriously.
It’s a good thing posts with links need to be approved by a mod, but Derek’s comment right after mine had me thinking I had missed a link in the original post at first hehehe. In other words, I can see how you got confused. :)
Incidentally, what happened to Ikiki? There appears to be something on his site that looks sorta like a “goodbye” in Japanese, but translation tools didn’t make much sense of it. For some reason the phrase “fat bowl” is in every sentence of it.
I enjoyed it. It felt like Frogger at one point and I tried to get smushed by cars.

You weren’t very good at frogger, were you…
