Aquaria, that unholy and sexy beast child of Derek Yu and Alec (... Yoo, maybe? What’s his last name?) released THIS:

    Let me be the first to say (since I showed this vid to lorne in the first place) that this whole setup is boners. Mad props to the whole team for making not just a beautiful game but what appears to be a very fast editor as well.

    Is it wrong that I want to make a level that doesn’t even have bad guys or a goal?

    Damn. That’s very slick looking, and flows really well. I would have never guessed the scenery collision was tile based. Where I had to come up with a pain in the ass workflow that involves creating and texturing your graphics to simple 3D models that cross the origin, that I then slice with a plane to generate collision, you guys go with some sort of elegant additive tile map. Son of a… :)

    Just to let everyone know, the editor will be packaged with the release version of the game (coming soon) and mods will be supported right off the bat. :)

    It’s definitely slick as hell, and Alec (Holowka!) is the MAN NOW, DAWG.
