Well, fuck.
uh, i can’t think of much else to say
TIGSource knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn’t.
SAVED. In all caps, no less.
That’s great news! Congrats to everyone behind tigsource!!
Newswhat? Is that one of those “real” magazines I’ve read about on Wikipedia?
Awesome!
Wow. Hey, I thought all the content was stolen from TIM? :D
Holy cow!
Does this mean I’m going to be famous?
Congrats belong to everyone who’s ever posted, commented, joined the forums, or read the site! There would be no TIGSource without the TIGCommunity (cue: “awwwwww”) We did it, y’all!
collapses in puddle of own spittle
Oh no! We’re becoming mainstream.
At least it’s only magazine-mainstream. Once we get covered on MTV, we’ll have to explain our strange love for manhugs before a Congressional hearing..
o.O
…holy shit!
Wait… why the FUCK is there a Google banner ad for Furcadia?!
Uh, ”small, casual games”?
If you don’t get it, you don’t get one.
Congrats. Now wheres the vodka?
Is this new mainstream attention going to score Derek some more hookers?
Woo! I’m going to bathe in the reflected glory!
bathes
Is this article what you spent your $20,000 on? ;)
That’s freakin’ awesome!
…someone explain to me what Newsweek is? (Alex = British ¬.¬)
word up. i dig how the mention serves to trick casual gamers into coming here to discover what real videogames are :)
the love oozes further.
Lets just hope they don’t read the comments too thoroughly….
Many of the shorter or simpler games featured on TIGSource could be easily considered casual, especially in to comparison to mainstream titles (such as GTA and WOW) that have gotten a lot of coverage in popular media. And, in that since, we have posted many complex casual games, too.
Additionally, all three of the websites listed cover and critique more than just casual games, so maybe the article’s author was trying to enlighten the magazine’s casual gaming readers to more of the world of gaming.
Furthermore, TIGSource is severing a noble cause in supporting and promoting independent games. Recognition shouldn’t be surprising but appreciated.

Wicked!
Wait until the Newsweek-reading populace discovers what a… lively vocabulary Derek possesses!
Holy carp! We’re legit now!
this is neat. congrats on that. notice any peak in traffic since?
next step: TIGS TRL on MTV.
TIGSource Cribs? :P
TIGS wives.
next step: TIGS TRL on MTV.
At first I misread this as TIGSource, the Roguelike. That would be…intriguing…to say the least.
Wow, cool! Derek continues his meteoric rise to superstardom. Just remember who’s your #1 superfan 4vr!
Damn. I’m way too edgy and cool to hang out on some mainstream site like this!
Also, I will second Albert said: holy carp.
Congratulations Derek, and all the tigsource editorial team. We are one step closer in our sacred quest to bring indie games to the masses.
Also, I too readed Tigs the roguelike… weird… it just keeps coming back
Intriguing… scary!
praise be to kenta-cho!
no, TRL stands for Total Request Live, d’uh.
Derek is the new Carson, except manlier..
but once it goes on, you can like, totally request a TIGS roguelike. like totally.
Great… more Republicans will come here to what? :P
Bill
Finally, free advertisement!
Oh, yeah, and with Shinji16… the Furcadia ad is kinda creepy.
