Cave Story: the Comic

You know it doesn’t really feel like Pixel, and I think that’s a good thing. The artwork’s rather nice, in my opinion!

    I swear I saw this a few months ago, and it doesn’t feel quite like deja vu.

    I don’t think it is, as crackers called it, weeaboo. It’s very much Western comic book style, and very well done at that. Of course, since there’s no dialog, there’s a possibility that it could turn out very fanfic-ish, but we’ll have to wait and see.

    Also, I don’t see why not being like Pixel is necessarily a good thing, but I do agree that the artwork is nice.

    Really, I’m intimidated on some level by comics with such awesome art, because often the artist either can’t maintain a consistent schedule, or can’t have a decent story pace. If this comic lasts, then cool. But I’m waiting a bit for an archive to build up before committing.

    I’ve been hurt by comics before…

    FhnuZoag, my buddy emailed me and told me of your post. i draw a page every 4-8 hours so don’t worry about keeping faith- but ill let my update schedule keep it for me. The site was up a couple of years ago:

    but I made a hude revamp of my site that shelfed it for awhile. But now every Friday is CaveStory day.

    Also to the owner of this site, yah- a whole lot of people are telling me about how you linked me! I’m so very new at it- lol.
