New Castle Crashers Trailer

It’s short, but pretty sweet! Despite my earlier reservations, the “flash”-style art is really growing on me now… those little characters are really endearing. Have the lines gotten more crisp since the last time I saw it? I love the part where they’re fighting in the middle of a big war!

I hope there are less cheap hits in this game than there were in Alien Hominid.

This game has a $20 in my pocket with it’s name on it, the idea of the audience for the boss fight is awesome. Though I think this trailer has been on the behemoth site for some time though… :|

It says “Castle Crashers Game Trailer - February 9th, 2007…”

    That’s not that bad! ;)

Any idea if this is going to be Xbox live arcade exclusive? If so I better start saving those pennies..

tip: don’t ever put “crashers” in the title when you submit buggy early/beta builds for judging ;)

it’s pretty fun, though there was only really one level to play. i’ve played it several times anyway – it captures the funness of the “4-player arcade beat-em-up” thing really well, just like alien hominid perfectly captured the “metal slug arcade platform shooter” thing.

I saw it at PAX, looked great in high def. I didn’t get a chance to play it though because their booth was getting mobbed by eager PAX’ers. From what I can tell this is an XBLA title at launch, though, no word on weather that is exclusive or not.

Damn, that’s great. I love how whenever big evil boss guy makes a hit, the crowd jumps up cheering.

I really hope this can make it through Microsoft’s notoriously lengthy XBLA certification process quickly.
