A Cure for the Common Cold

In A Cure for the Common Cold, you assume the role of Derek the starving artist – who is on the verge of completing his magnum opus and submitting it to a major competition. Unfortunately the illness is draining all of his creativity, and he can feel the award for “Most Underwater Rocks Drawn” slipping from his grasp real quick. Can you find the cure soon enough to salvage the situation?
Well, not too certain about some parts of the description but I think that’s how the story goes. Basically it’s a short freeware AGS adventure game which shouldn’t take more than an hour to complete.
Marina “MashPotato” Siu-Chong is also working on The Hatmaker’s Tale for about half a year now. And The Arsecast Host said that female developers don’t exist… (heh)

The Arsecast Host is very wise indeed.
Haha, thanks. :)
And I didn’t say that female developers didn’t exist, I merely opined that they were all actually dudes who were lying. ;)
so if you’re Derek’s doctor, why can’t you solve this dilemma of the common cold? >:
What DDD said. :) Sorry about the misquote.
So, is the interview with this developer forthcoming? ;)
I winned it. it was cute.
Ah, Rz, it’s because I’m a doctor of gameology. If I write you a prescription, it’s probably illegal. ;)
I didn’t realise Dr Derek Doctors was the Arsecast Host.
Tsk! I “came out” a few weeks ago.
Seems pointless to maintain the anonymity now that the hubbub from the retro remakes compo is over. Plus it turns out people are actually surprisingly okay with my ripping their games a new arsehole.
Except when its Tempest…
I’ve not had any comeback about any Temptests I’ve slated yet. More’s the pity. ;)
