This game’s zanier than John Steinbeck. I really like the aesthetic, but there’s way too much inane dialogue and the controls aren’t so hot. And no sound? But interesting, nonetheless.

It’s odd to say the least. The art is pretty interesting, though I have no idea what the hell the story is. It’s a village of fan-service hating sprites that gets attacked by Dante of Devil May Cry fame? Why the heck was the first thing I saw a knight exploding on the floor?
The combat is very lacking though, even if it is a flash game. He can jump, and attack, and jump and attack. Just seems weird for so much effort to go into the art of the game and have the rest of the game be well… pants.
Off-topic; Did anyone see that Castle Crashers has pulled out of Slamdance too? From what I understand it’s part controversy, part ‘well since no one else is actually going now it seems like a waste of a trip’. It’s showing at the IG festival though (which means no release until at least then. long year…)
