Mini01

Not exactly the blockbuster (heh) platformer that everyone has been expecting, Mini01 is still a decent short game perfect for that coffee break during work.
Use the arrow keys to move the orange block around. The tail follows your movement, and it will destroy any white block that touches it. An online high score feature has been included, though some of the scores are rather unbelievable.
Shih Tzu mentions that Mini01 is to be the first of a monthly game series, so we can expect more from the developer of Akuji the Demon and Guardian of Paradise very soon.
It was an absolutely brilliant year for freeware platformers in 2006, hopefully we can expect this trend to blossom further this year.

Damn this game for being rather addictive! ¬__¬
so uh, where’s that picture from?
This game is awesome.
… and I also want to know what that picture is from.
I believe it’s from another game by Buster, still currently under production.
Derek’s right, apologies about not stating it (though the first paragraph did mention this fact).
Posts containing screenshots from his upcoming platformer is usually on the front page for a week or two, before disappearing forever. Perhaps an act of eliminating evidence. :)
The inclusion of an online scoreboard was my downfall. Coffee break wise I would already have taken an extra 10 minutes beyond the alloted time and my latte would be bitterly cold by the time I’d gotten round to drinking it.
The bitter taste of 59th place…
I replaced the pic. This game is really quite fun.
Yuss, it’s simplistic but not bad at all. Reminds me of St Dragon, a bit, in the way you use your tail to protect you.
26th!
18th
Am I the only one for whom the online scoring isn’t working anymore? D:
