Blast MinerI still think kids who spend too much time playing military-based FPS should consider joining the army instead for a real-life experience, if not for the discipline. Ignore me if it doesn’t apply to you, or if you think I spout misinformed statements.

Oh yeah, Fun-Motion writes about Blast Miner.

Honestly, what’s the deal with Line Rider anyway. Either I “don’t get it” or it really is a waste of time.

    I’m covering Blast Miner in the next arsecast as well, although it’s largely irrelevant as Fun Motion’s review is almost identical to how I feel about the game. Only without the word c*g in there.

    Tim probably best to leave the political commentary out of the video games blog? Dunno, just seems inappropriate to me…

    As for LineRider, I think the magic is in what the community has done with it more than the actual software. There are many things that while ostensibly fairly simple allow some pretty creative stuff fairly easily. Speed runs in Elastomania, elite low-budget courses in bridge builder and armadillo run, awesome art made in MS Paint, etc etc. I think that’s reflected in how the app itself was just a deviance until the community got behind it prompting the author to set up a page for it.
