I always knew Dan Paladin, the artist behind Castle Crashers, was in the Klan (and a pervert – c’mon “Castle Crashers?”). Now we have proof! This game should be banned, pronto.

Also, yes, I know this is old as hell.

    I don’t understand well, I don’t see any racist content… ? There some black creatures, but are they really what you mean? I could say, yes it is racist, if theses got some big lips and said “Bonga bonga”, that would make me unhappy (even more).

    I don’t know this game, but I am not convinced about this news…

    If you really want to talk about “oriented content”, well, there are quite a lot… American Army, Command and Conquer : Generals, all game showing a very simple and stupid vision of Africa or Oriental countries. Theses are popular but if you go deeper, they just participate to some strange view of the world. For me that is much more dangerous… For example I read a very interesting article concerning Tropico. OK, I guess it is more politic than racism, but some how I believe it is contribuiting to get a very bad opinion of these people that are usually black, arab…

    I remember renting Double Dragon (NES) and reading about the enemies in the manual out loud in the car, and my mom had a cow because some of the enemies you beat up were women. I was like, “Mom, they’re violent criminals trying to kill you with whips and chains, just like all the men you ALSO beat up in this game,” but she was still adamant that it was horrible to have any violence against women whatsoever. Even at a tender young age I called BS.
